AN UPDATE FROM DATABEATSPublished 26th March 2020
Following the recent updates from the UK government, we felt it was now the right time to update our highly valued customers and clients on what Databeats are doing during the COVID 19 outbreak.
Firstly, owing to the cancellation of all events including DJ and live performances, we cannot emphasise enough that now is the time to support your favourite labels and artists. We are working on a number of initiatives around this, but in the meantime please shop with confidence through our clients' stores and support the culture we all love. Together we can ensure that once we pull through this, we are stronger for it as a community. Rest assured that orders are presently being processed and dispatched within 48 hours (excluding weekends) and it is ‘business as usual’ as much as is practicably possible at our side.
Some of the steps we have taken to protect our staff and customers include our warehouse operating on skeleton staff, with no more than two people on-site at any one time. None of the staff travel to and from work using public transport, and their presence on site is completely their own decision, with no financial penalty should they not want to attend. They are also working more than 2m apart throughout the day, alongside increased cleaning rotas.
We are working very hard to strike the right balance between government advice, whilst continuing to operate and support customers and clients through this period.
